He isn’t so good at writing these things about himself so he asked his mom to do it:

Matthew is a very bright, hardworking (and handsome!) young man who is a Line Producer and UPM- titles I didn’t know existed on movies, but at least I know he isn’t the one who holds the camera (and he isn’t a Best Boy, whatever that is. LOL!). Evidently what he does has something to do with budgets, getting people to show up to places on time, and NOT being able to introduce his mother to Tom Hanks! And apparently it also involves receiving too many emails to answer his mother about their upcoming Labor Day vacation plans! (Matthew, seriously, we need to figure this out!)

He works far away from his mother mostly in Los Angeles and Atlanta. But then last week he came home to San Francisco for a project and then was off to New York. I don’t know where in the world he is half the time! Also, he went to NYU, which once put him in the same room as Billy Crystal. And he is also in the DGA as a Unit Production Manager, which once put him in the same room as Steven Spielberg (but, hello! Matthew, when can I meet them?!)

However, Matthew DID introduce me to Bob Saget who directed and starred in a movie Matthew line produced called “Benjamin.” And he once told he had to call me back when he was working on a TV show called “Monarch” and was standing on set with Susan Sarandon. Also, he’s done so many commercials I can’t even keep track of them all, but it seems like every time I point at the TV and ask “that one?” he hasn’t worked on it. LOL! Thankfully none of these projects starred Will Ferrell who I just can’t stand- especially that movie where he has a mustache and is just such an imbecile! Ick ick ick!

Ok hope this helps Matthew. Love you. And remember that we STILL want to remodel your room, but you STILL need to get rid of all these darn boxes of Star Wars action figures! (And seriously, re Labor Day family vacation, please call me!)
